Zoe Necklace Jewelry Tutorial

Zoe Necklace Jewelry Tutorial

Hello everyone.

We're excited to showcase our new creation using Z beads.

These are our original Czech beads design.

The following is a detailed production process, which I will share with you.

Additionally, if you like this piece, we have jewelry material kits available for sale.

This original work is by Miao Wa Studio.

The above are all the materials used.

Step 1 - Cut a 5-meter length of thread and fold it in half. Thread one end through a needle and pull it to the center. Tie a 2mm seed bead at the end to act as a stopper bead.

Step 2 - To avoid visual fatigue, I’m using Z beads in multiple colors for this demo. You can use a single color or mix multiple colors when making your own.
Bead sequence for one set: Z Bead → O Ring → Z Bead → 2.2mm Matubo → 3mm Round Bead → 2.2mm Matubo.
This counts as one set.

Step 3 - Thread another complete set and pull it down to the stopper bead end.

Step 4 - Add one more set and pull it to the end.

Step 5 - Continue adding sets in this manner.
You’ll need a total of 23 full sets + 1 half set (Z Bead + O Bead).
Use an odd number of full sets plus a half set, based on your neck circumference.
23.5 sets are suitable for most people’s neck sizes. If it’s too short, use an extender chain.

Step 6 - Beading complete.Red marks indicate half a set.

Step 7 - Thread 9 pcs of 15/0 seed beads and 1 closed jump ring through the other hole of the Z bead.

Step 8 - Bring the entire piece over for demonstration.

Step 9 - As shown, thread 2 Z beads through the next one.

Step 10 - Take 1 kite bead (using the tip hole) and thread it through the next Z bead.

Step 11 - Thread another 2 Z beads through the next one.

Step 12 - Add a kite bead.

Step 13 - Keep adding in this way until you reach the other end.

Step 14 - Complete.

Step 15 - Thread: 15/0 Seed Bead → 3mm Round Bead → 3 pcs 15/0 Seed Beads
As shown, pass through the Z bead.

Step 16 - Thread: 15/0 Seed Bead → 4mm Round Bead → 15/0 Seed Bead
Pass through the next Z  bead.
(If you don’t want the finished piece to have a natural curl, replace the 15/0 seed beads here with 11/0 donut beads)

Step 17 - Bring the entire piece over for demonstration.

Step 18 - Take 1 Demi bead and pass it through the kite bead.

Step 19 - Add a symmetric Demi bead on the other side.

Step 20 - Thread another set of round beads as shown.

Step 21 - Add a Demi bead near the kite bead.

Step 22 - Add another Demi bead.

Step 23 - Continue adding in this way until you reach the other end.

Step 24 - Once you’ve completed one full circle, thread:
3 pcs 15/0 Seed Beads → 3mm Pearl → Closed Jump Ring

Step 25 - Pass through as shown in the image.

Step 26 - Follow the dotted line to thread all the way to the 15/0 seed bead at the other end. (The red arrow marks the starting point)

Step 27 - While threading, tie a knot at any kite bead position: pass the needle through the gap between beads.

Step 28 - Pull the thread to form a small loop.

Step 29 - Pass the needle through the small loop and tighten it.

Step 30 - Continue threading and tie knots multiple times along the way.

Step 31 - Once you reach this end, thread 8 pcs of 15/0 seed beads and the extender chain as shown.

Step 32 - Tighten and continue threading along the beads, tying a knot at the O Bead position.

Step 33 - As shown in the image.

Step 34 - Continue threading until 10cm of thread remains. Tie two knots with both threads and cut off the excess.

Step 35 - Remove the stopper bead, then thread both ends of the thread through the needle.

Step 36 - Thread along the beads.

Step 37 - Thread to this row, tie two knots in the gap, and cut off the excess thread.
(The red arrow marks the position)

Step 38 - On the other side, attach two jump rings and the lobster clasp.
(The red arrow marks the position)

Step 39 - That’s it! Your necklace is complete.
